Hello, my name is Dave and welcome to the first post on my new blog. I hope to bring you updates on my journey through the grim darkness of the far future, most likely with a few diversions into boardgames and other settings along the way.
I plan to post fairly regular hobby updates, background I have written for my various armies and hopefully some battle reports.
One of my biggest plans and longest term aim is some articles on introducing young people to the hobby. My oldest, currently 4, has shown an interest in my miniatures for 2 years now, and I am starting to unleash her with paint.... So hopefully over the years I will post articles detailing my attempts to insure both she and her sister never have money for drugs....
My daughter is 4 and has shown some interest in painting minis - I started her on toilet rolls with a smiley face drawn on them, now she is on to 2nd Ed. Orks and Marines. If she is not a golden daemon winner by the time she is 8 I will disown her #BADBADDAD
